She's gone!

Our cat left this world peacefully tonight, curled up in her bed. She passed the same way she lived her life for most of the last 15 years, quietly and unobtrusively. While she was never a lap cat, she was a good cat and was usually very little trouble.  Her motto was "Live and let live - as long as you don't bother me, we will all get along fine!"  Hhhmm, that sounds vaguely familiar...

We are relieved she is free from her ailing body now! She will be missed, even by me.


This is not her, but it is close to what she looked like!  Farewell sweet cat!

    I am sorry that you lost your cat. We had to put our cat down last month. That cat was hated by a lot of people but he and I got along great. He would only sit on my lap and even then it was not for to long. I miss him but at least I have some great memories of him, just like you have great memories of you cat.

    I am so sorry that you have lost a good friend of 15 yrs. I understand that loss well. Cats are so unique in their habits...some aloof, some very friendly, but always doing their own thing. Though a pet, they are still family. My condolences in your loss. Dan (caring1)
